We had a few shrimp with this light purple paste
looking stuff on the head and vien. If I remember
corectly this is a diseas??? Is this black gill?
sounds like black gill, which if I remember correctly doesn’t affect you eating them…

the gills will be black if they have black gill, not a “purple paste” in the vein.
I tried a few searchs. No helpful info on this subjectt yett.

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have seen it in shrimp we have caught before too. I thought it was something they ate since it is in the vein.

OR they where caught in bulls bay area.
As for the roe im not sure. Didnt look like fish
eggs r female crab mass. Im not disagreeing
