Sick of pushing with a bamboo pole. If anyone has one around the 18’ mark, and wants to sell for under $200 preferably cheaper, send me a pm please. I can also trade you a lifetime supply of bamboo towards my purchase.
I have a used one - I don’t have much use for it to be honest - Not sure if its 18 feet… I’ll try to take some pics of it and post it here. Give me a day or so. It would be under $200 - its a fiberglass push pole, definitely not bamboo. I can’t remember the brand off hand…
Not something I would ship though. Hope you can drive to West Columbia if you were interested.

Cotton - pics below. Not an 18 footer. It’s about 104" from tip to tip. Must have been on a smaller boat. My neighbor gave it to me - not sure where he got it, but he doesn’t fish at all and thought I might want it. My boat isn’t a flats boat, so it’s been sitting in my garage since he gave it to me. It is a G Loomis, fair cosmetically - definitely been used.
It is structurally sound though. I know there is a market for it but I have no practical use for it. I can’t really tell if its carbon fiber or fiberglass. I didn’t get any fiberglass in my hands holding it so it could very well be carbon fiber. It is solid and has some weight to it. I would like to sell it and move it out of my garage…it may be a yard sale item soon if no interest on this post. I might list is separately on swap shop if you aren’t interested.
Not greedy…any reasonable offer is good with me.
Would need to be picked up here in West Columbia. Too cumbersome to ship. Thanks.
Definitely NOT carbon fiber if it has “some weight to it”. Still seems like a good deal though. GLWS

HA! Fair enough…Carbon Fiber on a Z06 Corvette is light/strong and spells speed, so point taken… honestly, I don’t know much about what is considered normal weight for a push pole. This one may actually be carbon fiber. It seems stout to me but I’ve never used one and have nothing to compare it to. What I do know is that somebody out there has a whole lot more use for it than I do.
Any reasonable offer considered. I’m starting to put some money back for another offshore fishing trip to NC and every little bit helps my cause.
