Put Up Or ShutUp Fish-Off

Rules state that for the slam…one must catch a slam. two out of three does not count. No one said that you have to grope said fish for the picture so I think you will be safe from the danger of the said saltwater catfish.

All in favor of Stretch being in charge of rules say AHHH.

Phin, you pervert toadfish groper. Keep your fingers out of there.

Aah, Flats, I can put you on some toadfish if you want bro.
The problem with the slam is the saltwater cat. The only sure-fire place I know of for him is in the S. Edisto. That is too far of a drive. I will have to do some scouting this weekend. The sharks always beat the catfish to the bait.
A big fat stingray shouldn’t be a problem. I will have a 50W Avet out for him intentionally so that I won’t have to fight him for 20 min.

Something is telling me that just a photo will do for the redneck slam. When was the last time anyone even caught a toadfish outside of in a crab pot?

Gentlemen/girls

Rules clearly state what is the legal methods of catching fush and the crab trap was not mentioned.

Also, with the tour du france substance problem hitting the news, I feel it will be necessary to have blood testing done to determine if anyone is "jucing’.

I have been trying to figure out a way to shorten a spottail from 25 inches to 23 and 15/16’s.
Might have to take some scissors to the tails.

Not really…

That is one pro tip the DNR frowns on.

If you do a good job there’s almost no way to tell, unless Phin shows up holding a redfish with a tuna tail

I can put you on some HOG catfish in the Ashley north of the 526 bridge. Last one I caught there was about 10lbs. A sure winner…

Not to rain on the parade, but have ya’ll considered a different date? If I’m not mistaken, August 5th will be a BUSY day at every landing in the Charleston area as everyone with a boat heads up to Rockville. I’m sure this was considered, but just wanted to double check. (20 pages is a lot to read through)
