Sharkin’ - if we put 30-35 folks on the g-ride, I like our chances. 35 folks with 2 rods each… Might be a squeeze, but if we run outta room we can see if the Thunderstar will carry us up the creeks.

Right now, we have 8 boats in the tourney. At 35 per boat, that means the purse is …70 bucks per prize. Rug Rats are encouraged and you split with them however you want.

Ok ya’ll I’m in. And seeing as the SOB ( Short Oriental Boy ) Stretch will be in his boat. Im taking mine, if any of you guys without a ride, would like to join me. Give me a holler, either here or via PM. I prefer people that know where to fish, seeing as i am still new to the saltwater in the area. it is a 17 Scout Dorado with a 115 Yamaha, the boat is very fishable and has a built in livewell. I’ll pay for the gas you supply the bait live dead whatever. Hopefully you have a cast net or minnow trap if not we will deal with it. What you catch will be yours. Pictures of the boat attached. Thinking of launching at Remley’s. BTW the boat is being readied as you are reading this.

You Charleston guys/gals, I have really enjoyed watching the
evolution of yer tournament…this is what a fishing tournament
should be all about…just a ton of fun and back and forth
and drinkin’ and wagerin’…the fun is really in the pre-game
as much as the fishin’, ain’t it?
This being our 6th season of King Tourney’s, it is so refreshing
to hear a crowd of fishermen so excited about homemade COMPETITION!!!

Had another scare about missing the tourney when 2 year old developed a fever yesterday but it seems gone tonight. Last time I was halfway to LA to duck hunt when she started one. Kept on going and she was sick for the next 4 days (while I was plugging mallards, pins and cans). That does a lot for your in-law relationship. Why does this happen EVERY time I plan an out-of-town trip? Anyway, steering still working good and even worked on the trailer lights tonight. See ya’ll at SCB&G around 6 or so.

I’ll be there tonight, have a problem with the tourny though, I’m paid up, but my fishing buddy is out, and that means his boat too, if something doesn’t come together soon, I’m going to start asking if anyone needs crew. If that doesn’t work, I’m going to stow away. I figure it’s ok if I have to walk the plank, it’s an inshore tournament.
