About 6 7 years ago when I was working EMS on Edisto Bch, we responded to whiteoak landing, for a boat that was coming in. The guy caugyt what i think was a scopion fish, or something silmilar, anyway he brought the fish on board and put it in the cooler, he said it was in there for a few hours, I he wanted to check it out, he reach in and got hit with a spine or something, well his hand was swollen big time, and he was hurting all the was to the hospital. It must have been a long ride. from offshore to the ramp to the hospital.

…hmmphh…well Mr sharkin…who wouda’ thunk someone with a 6lb plus flounder would get beat…and of I remember correctly…it wasnt by that much…but we all know how man measurements go esp. when it comes to fish.

what do you make your hooks out of???..those thin little Christmas ornament hangers…I know it wouldnt take much to hold the fish you catch…
and what test do you use…2 lb? on a good day…
youre the only guy I know that has to have a bucket to stand on to take a whiz over the side of the boat…
heard when they told you to put more “weight” on your line you sat on it…
heard that when they told you your line was "going off’…you asked them to re-set it.
heard when they asked you to bring a “anchor” you brought the guy from channel 5 with you.
heard you were seen in the emergency room after someone told you line gets run through"the eyes"…and you tried it
heard they saw you leaning over the side of the boat and marking a big “X” on it and when asked what you did it for you said so you’d “remember that fishing spot”…
heard when they asked you to pick up some shrimp you showed up with a bag from captain “D’s”

I would say a new pole and trolling motor on my boat would all but sew up another check for me but it’s hard to win from Greer. Looks like a target species in May and the full thing in October? I think we should do away with the “trash fish” so the payouts go 1/3, 1/3, 1/3. We also will have more “stuff” to give away this time around. Does October 2nd or 8th work better or worse for anyone better than the other?
