PVC fishing rod racks - many UV stable colors

So I’ve made a few of these out of plain schedule 40 PVC in the past, but now I can get UV-stable outdoor grade stuff. Really nice looking stuff that doesn’t look shade tree.

What do you guys think these could sell for?

Colors are white, gray, black, blue, green, purple, red, orange, and yellow. They’re glossy finish.

These are 3 different sizes with 15 holders each. Variety of options available though.
I leave them unglued if just sitting in the garage, but I could glue them and put drain holes and wheels on them. If left unglued, they can have holders added or taken off depending on space constraints or growth of your tackle spread!

Did these in gray/blue and gray/black colors just to be a little different.

I’d probably give about $35 for an orange white version in the narrower spaced crate for inshore rods. No glue. Maybe $45 at the most.

That might not even cover materials costs on a really small rack.

Maybe 2 x 4 = 8 rods…

Yeah, I didn’t realize furniture grade pvc was so pricey. I guess I was just comparing to the cost of a similar size rod holder in those foam rodsteward blocks for that price.

Pay no mind to me, I am more of a DIY’er so I would likely just order the pieces myself and assemble.

The more you build, the quicker you can build them.

What you could get would probably be entirely dependent on where you sold and marketed them. I’d DIY myself but I store mine in the garage and hobby room normally from

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Nice looking, made one just like those to stand my rods up while I wash them.

I’m a DIY also and use a lot of PVC. There is at least $50 in materials in one of those, plus an hours labor. I wouldn’t sell one for under $100.

I’m a diy’en myself. Those look really nice. I took milk crates and cut pvc tubes to sit in each corner and one in between each of those. Zip tied them in place…easy rod rack and can put outside to wash rods in too. Store stuff in the middle of them.

Yours look really nice and will hold up longer than mine. I hope you do well with them !

Might help if you make them red-white-blue, purple-orange, and redpuke-black. I’m sure you could sell them to somebody but it’s probably best to have a plane S40 PVC cheap option too.
