Quail for new years breakfast

Fried quail is almost as good as a fried pork chop. The next batch was shot up pretty good so we filleted the meat off the breast as a lot of feathers got pushed in deep. Zip lock bag a dash of garlic salt, course pepper, and one beat egg. Battered in Zateran’s, leg’s got 4 min @ 350 and the whole breasts got 5 min. The filleted breast “tenders” were done in 2 1/2 min.
