Quantum Cabo and braid?

The Quantum Cabo casting reel (CBC 20PTS) has a brass-looking line guide. Can that take the braid over time. Was thinking of loading it with 15-20 # braid.

I have the Quantum Burner and it has held up fine. Not the same reel but similar

Thanks. The Burner line guide has the small tube oriented along the axis of the line. The Cabo has the vertical brass(?) loop as a line guide. Since replacement parts for discontinued reels can be an issue, I was trying not to ruin it.

My dad and I have the Boca 40’s. We spool them with 20lb braid and have had no problems. Fairly new reels, though.

Call their customer service and ask. Takes out all the guess work, and gives you peace of mind.

not to knock what you’re saying Indy, but customer service people are paid by the manufacturer in question…I’d rather trust someone who bought something similar and has experience with it…

animal cruelty sucks…unless his lip hurts cause there is a 1/0 Owner Aki hook with a chinaback stuck in it

I believe they’d tell the truth. Most manufacturers want you to be happy with their product.
