Question for East Cape Owners

I just gave Kevin my deposit for a new Fury this weekend. The wait is going to kill me!

I would love to hear any ideas/suggestions on setups; how your boats are set up, things you would do differently, ect. Any info is greatly appreciated!

Also anyone have the ECC stakeout system? If so does it work well around here?

buy a good rain suit ?

Great idea, really. If I was afraid of getting wet I probably would just stay home. Ever ridden in or seen a fury?

yes, hence my suggestion.

I have a new to me Lostmen that I bought in October. Love it. Although I didn’t build it, I did shop until I found the right setup for a long time. Things I really like, 60 etec, bob’s jack-plate, multiple stakeouts (2 on the transom, one on the bow), 24 volt troller, casting platform, livewell with recirc and bubbler (really like the built in bubbler), pop-up cleat on bow, built in 3-bank battery charger, tilt steering, and side-console. Any personal custom touches like rope work on tilt steering, custom seadeck, graphics, etc really add to the boat as well. Only things I wish I had are a combo GPS/FF unit, and multi-function gage or nmea capable GPS/FF. Have fun with the build!

Swing into Lowcountry Fly shop and talk to Gifford…he just spent months pacing circles figuring out everything he wanted.

I’d personally skip the stake out. Easy to stake out in mud with the pp.

Anhinga, thanks for the info. Im glad to hear you like the bubbler. That was one of the options I was on the fence about.

Graham, I’ll def stop by and talk with Gifford next time I’m in charleston.

Thanks for the help.
