I know this is a kayak “fishing” forum, but just want to ask the kayak anglers on here if they use their yaks for hunting as well?

I’ve used my yak for hunting a couple of times. It’s great for getting out to your spot to hunt on land but you can’t carry many decoys. Shooting from a kayak is tricky. Your range is reduced to less than 180 degrees, so if a duck flies behind you, you have to try and rotate your whole yak around before it’s in shooting range. It works well if you have two hunters in separate kayaks facing opposite directions.
