Would you split a boat/motor if offered instead of package? Haven’t entertained that, but the guy just wants the motor and controls. I can at least use the boat while on the market and I am not in a pinch for a sale, but would have a nice hull I can’t take out.

selling them apart is much harder in my opionion.
I agree with circle hook… they may be worth more separate, but the difficulty in selling will negate any profit, plus you got some dude hacking around your boat to get the motor and controls off that will not be very careful doing so.
if he wants just the motor, tell him he can buy the whole boat and sell the hull himself.
