Have you ever heard of anyone rig up a bike to pull a Yak behind. Like a hitch system? I know they sell the big, oversized wheel rigs so you can pull your kayak without draggin the bottom, but do they sell a bracket to hook to your bike to tow your yak? I have access to a welder, so I could prolly rig my own hitch system, but do yall sell the wheel systems for a Tarpon 120? Thanks for your help man, I appreciate it.

Yes they do, I’m trying to remember the name of the co out in CA that makes the bike trailers. Basically it is a bimini top fitting that goes around the seat post so the fitting will swivel, then use the mount holes on the fitting to attach to. Take your seat off the bike and take it into west marine and look at the bimini fittings and I’m sure ya can come up with the same type of thing.
there is a company out of North Charleston that has some bike carts. Paddleboy designs has a model that we could get called the “PB Flyer”, i think it runs around $175. I’ll try to find the link to the local guys.

I have tried a bike with one of these attached, and it worked pretty well. It is hinged with a spring where it attaches to the bike so that it can pivot freely around turns.
Thanks for the help, I checked out paddlecart.com and they are like $260. That “PB Flyer” sounds good for $175 if ya’ll can get it. I appreciate the help fellas.

ElCid, let me know if you would like for me to order that PB flyer. It would take about a week to come in.
that is a sweet trailer. anyone ever used any of the BOB bike trailers? i thought about using one of those for the kayak and also as an all purpose rig.
I was checkin the specs on the PB Flyer and notice that its weight limit is 75lbs. My Yak weights 68 plus the weight of my cast net, anchor, tackle, full cooler, etc. do you think I would have a problem weighin it down too much?
Thanks,
