I’m looking at the vessel mentioned above, but the owner says it’s rigged with twin yammy 4 stroke 150’s?
Seems way underpowered to me?

The cc and wa version typically come with twin 225 or 250. Take a ride and see what you think. If it’s a good deal then sell the motors and repower.Yamaha 150 sell easily.

I’d say it’s underpowered too. Pursuits are heavy boats. I fish a friends 2650 CC, it has twin 200s and that’s about right for it.

Thanks for the input, guys! The boat is in Virginia and will be here in a couple of weeks. I’ve done quite a bit of research and can’t find where these boats we’re rigged with 150’s new? Boat is probably worth asking price without power, I just hope it isn’t one of those “too good to be true” deals.

Went and looked at one in Charlotte last year.It had twin 200 yammies…pics he sent me were like five years old with boat in the water as well as running in his yard…
When I got there it was in a storage lot w dead batteries, no water to run engines and boat looked like shat…I made what I thought was a reasonable offer but was turned down…When I got back to Bowman exit he called to take the offer…Glad I didn’t turn around.

New motors are not cheap! Be sure to check the running boat well!! If the boat has 150s you kow they were run hard!

Thanks again for the input. Owner says he was mistaken on engines, and it does have twin 200’s. Boat is wrapped in dry storage. Not sure why he would go to the expense to wrap, or pay storage bill, on junk? Keeping my fingers crossed…???
