Since the weather was so nice and I had the day off I finally got to take my kayak out for a little while. Got to my spot, out going tide, using cut mullet on the bottom, I had a feeling it was going to be a good day. Within 15 minutes of putting lines in the water a couple dolphin showed up within 20 ft. of me and started feeding on the bank. I have seen this before and I figured they would be gone in a minute and hopefully they wouldn’t scare all the fish away. Next thing I know there are half a dozen of em and they feed on this bank for the next 45 minutes. By now I had given up on fishing and just enjoyed the show.
Nice pics! Glad you got to hit the water…

Wow that is awesome! Never seen more than 2-3 feeding at once. Good stuff!
All fishermen are liers except me and you and I’m not sure about you.
Could you tell what they were feeding on? I’m assuming a school of reds, but wondering if you ever saw the actual prey?

I didn’t see but I thought it was bait fish. Assuming mullet.
