Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday was so so for us. 15 or so sheepshead, 12-15 trout, and 3 flounder. Live bait.
Sunday was a different story.
We fished artificials. Trout tricks to be more specific.
the results were great. it could be that the trout are all wanting to commit suicide right now, but the bite was strong.
caught 30+ trout, 12-15 redfish, and one flounder.

soon as ya’ll pulled down the river we stayed in one spot and caught 15 or so trout. Ralph’s a heck of a fisherman!!!

Coulda been the hat and sunglasses! No worries! We did pretty good on the trout out toward the mouth of that creek but further up from where you were was barren!

I think we can assume we know what killed off the dinosaurs, if we ever find a fossil that has a 4 foot long, purple worm with a 5-pound lead head fossilized in it’s jaws.
Trout tricks are just plain awesome.
good stuff stretch- size range on the trout? sheeps continue to turn on for me, been shamed by a few beasts lately… and seen two little rec-tagged fish!

I found some Trout Trick here in Savannah and was wondering if you put anything on them?
Also, were you using a 1/8 oz lead head. The one time I used them, I could not get the bait down to the both because of the current.

Yes, 1/8 oz gamakatsu ball style jig head…basically same direction as given on the package including how to fish it.
