Somewhere in there caught 2 brownies up to 25#, AJ’s to 50#(no not the one in the picture), King 30#+, numerous vermillion and some sea bass. Between the bait catching and the fishing I think we caught 15 different species. Had plans on drowning pogies @ The North Hole(bait and weather thought different). Still managed a respectable catch regardless. Hats off to John and Omar for a good day.
PS- John, when you get a chance can you teach me the upsidedown, backwards crank for those AJ’s. They didn’t stand a chance.
Think how stupid the average person is, then realize that half the people are dumber than that.
how do those reef donkeys taste? never eaten them. what’s the best way to prep.
that’s one nasty looking tstorm. had to run in between 2 spouts like that once coming in through the jetties. was glad to be on a contender that day hauling ass.

Notice the lip gaff. All AJ’s were released, this one after the mug shot. Already had 2 brownies in the boat for dinner. Don’t think I would eat AJ’s unless on Survivor. Too many other tasty fish in the sea.
PJ- think I’m doin’ the kid thing this weekend. Well unless it’s really flat…
