I have a Sevylor inflatable raft, 8-9 feet long… used to use it to fish all kinds of lakes back home… OK to use in lakes/small creeks around here? It doesn’t have a motor on it, but it’s the kind of raft that can have a trolling motor mounted to the rear… I don’t see why I couldn’t use it in any place that kayaks or canoes could go, but I know the ‘rules have changed’ now that I’m in a place with gators…
Also oyster shells.
“Fishing and catching are two different things. Fishing is what I love; catching is a bonus.”–Papa, 1979
The raft is tough enough that I wouldn’t be too worried about oyster shells - especially in freshwater lakes and the places I’d plan on taking it… I just don’t wanna get gnawed on by a gator!
