if anybody needs rain just call me or triton. we have been out striper fishing three times and three times it has rained and run us off of the water. went out sunday. triton made the comment while we were putting the boat in that there were not enough clouds for us. well; sure as #$%%: we get out,catch one short fish and then here comes the storm. also ran steelytom and phisinphan off of the water.
if we ever get the weather right look out. we could be dangerous. still a lot of fun anyway.
We even tried to sneek out without you knowing. But you came out and jinxed us anyway. We only ended up with one shorty. But we got rained out pretty early. and to make things worse I got tore up by some fire ants unloading the boat.
What’s rain got to do with it? Rain gear???

I was out there Sunday afternoon and the we got some rain, but no lightning. That was a around 4-5pm. Didn’t last long, maybe 15 minutes, then it was nice.
Bring on the 2-3 chop!
yeh excavator; it was nice when we put in at 6 but aound 9pm is when the horse of all kinds of colors and wind started. rain gear basically melts when hit by lightning. then it is hard to remove from the skin.
steelytom; if you guys had not decided to put in uplake chance are the fire ants that we hired would not have bothered you.
why don’t we try it friday. there is only a 120% chance of rain and 80mph winds. sounds like the perfect day for triton and myself.

today was awesome, but fish were not, think the storm front starting to cause lock jaw. morning report 20+ fish 2 22"ers went to work then off and back on water at 830pm and only 3shorts, alot of boats were having trouble from what they said. i know everyone has there own words on what dnr should be doing with the short fish, but there were some forgein guys at the towers keeping everything that bit a hook i saw i know 10 to 15 go in the cooler there were even netting like 8 to 10" striper out of the hydro glow light they had and putting them in the cooler. totally uncalled for but can’t wait till next week cause i am sure no fishing for the rest of the week… tight lines everyone.
MM, If you see that again, please, call 1-800-922-5431, Operation Game Thief, and report the infraction and boat registration number. DNR will be waiting for the perps at the ramp.

If they’re keeping illegal fish, they should be reported! I’d say holler at them and give them a piece of your mind, but who knows what they might be packing.
they always come at sundown and tie up to the towers dnr needs to ride out with some regular fishermen and give them a surprise also go down and pic up the mexicans on the river they dont throw nothin back there moto is if its go eyes it fries i was told they dont give them a ticket because they wont come and pay because there illegal so its a waste of time for them .

thats was what i was thinking. that boat with all those people that you know are gonna say they can’t understand a word you are saying with all those illegal fish…lol…that is a dnr officers nightmare, it would be better on his part just to leave it alone. half probably have no id on them anyway. its just a lost cause but if i do see it again i will call.
