pull up to the spot, look around and its lightly drizzling, pretty breezy, but not too cold. First cast gets the attention of a seagull and before I can reel my hardbait underwater, I snag the poor fella in the foot. Fortunately, he came off after a few tugs and flew away not much worse for the wear. A few casts later and I spook some finger mullet. Flipper makes an appearance chasing some horse mullet. Just minding my business casting away when the same gull decides to try his luck again on a mouthful of metal and plastic, plain brilliant. Fortunately he misses. Next cast reels in a frisky little redfish that may have been legal, but was released anyway. After around 15 minutes, it starts monsooning again, try a couple more spots a little more out of the rain without too much luck other than one strike and a miss. Still beats work
