Rainy day report

pull up to the spot, look around and its lightly drizzling, pretty breezy, but not too cold. First cast gets the attention of a seagull and before I can reel my hardbait underwater, I snag the poor fella in the foot. Fortunately, he came off after a few tugs and flew away not much worse for the wear. A few casts later and I spook some finger mullet. Flipper makes an appearance chasing some horse mullet. Just minding my business casting away when the same gull decides to try his luck again on a mouthful of metal and plastic, plain brilliant. Fortunately he misses. Next cast reels in a frisky little redfish that may have been legal, but was released anyway. After around 15 minutes, it starts monsooning again, try a couple more spots a little more out of the rain without too much luck other than one strike and a miss. Still beats work

3" small lip hardbait medium retrieve. Fishing 4’ of water, strike was in about 1’ of water right on near the top. Falling tide

Way to get out there
