Well thanks to a few folks here on the webpage, my dad and I were able to get on a few nice stripers this morning out on Murray. Arrived at the Dam around 630am (just to find my Raymarine FishFinder was not working…) made our way to the towers started trollig slowly w/the TM, and hooked into nice 25" fish on a free line, we ended up with 5 fish in the boat 20-25" on a mix of freelines and 20’ downlines, all with BB. Most of the fish were about middle of the main lake, about 1/2 mile upstream of the towers.
The deeper lines never got a hit.
The rain started and by 830 we’d had enough, not a bad trip for a newbie. Thanks for all the info, cant wait to get onto more of em’.
