I would like to raise my steering while because I stand when I drive and I am putting a leaning post in as well. I am new to the whole steering area but without putting a new steering cable in, could I install a new tilt helm? Could I raise the helm by adding a starboard or wooden base and attach a different degree bevel? I would like to not change the steering cable. Thanks for any suggestions
You could certainly raise it with a pod, or pad and make it any angle you want. Hard to tell from here if your steering cable will work or not. If it’s only a few inches, probably so. Easy enough to take it loose and see.
