I use Hendricks as my primary landing. I do know that Hendricks’s Park is ran by the recreation department for the city of north charleston. If they would take the trestle down and build a boat dock, would that make it feasible for the bigger boats or do you wish they would build a landing somewhere else? I am asking because I don’t know. I am trying to get as most information as possible.

The marina on the south end of the old navy base has bathrooms and a store. I have wondered why they have never constructed a boat ramp.
Several years back it was in the works to build a ramp on the south end over on the shipyard creek side. Was to have a dock and all. The company across the creek said it would interfere with the docking and moving about of ships over there. So that plan got scrapped.
