unscrew the gas fill lid, see if that helps, sounds like you have a vent issue

The vent issue is a good possibility. Make sure dirtdaubbers haven’t set up housekeeping in your vent port. (Saw this happen before)
You said you replaced the fuel lines, I’m assuming the hose is large enough to provide unrestricted flow to a thirsty motor like you are running. One last thing, double check the routing on every last inch of fuel hose and make sure there aren’t any kinks or sharp bends. Seriously, look at every last inch!!

Good luck!

thanks trying today

I had the same thing happen and it ended up being my fuel pump. I started digging around and some people that know a lot more about engines then me said to always re-build or replace the fuel pump if you are cleaning the carbs because of a fuel issue. Reason, if you don’t the fuel pump probably has trash in it and will either restrict fuel flow or release the trash into the carbs and you have the same issue again. Luckily for me the fuel pump did not release trash into the carbs, but once I re-built the fuel pump it ran like a top. It makes sense if you think about it because one feeds the other. If you don’t get trash out of both of them it will just reinfect that part that you didn’t clean or replace.

Hopefully the vent cap is your fix, that is an easy one.

found the anti syphon valve plugged again. knocked out the check valve and it runs like a top. now gotta figure how to clean a gas tank
