Range day with Stumpknocker

We went to my land Saturday to do some shooting/sighting in, etc. Had a great time and he let me shoot some of his very nice guns.

Not only is he the best saltwater fisherman i know, he’s an accomplished marksman. I was impressed with his skills and knowledge.

There’ll be a lot more days like this, soon.

Sorry I only got 3 pics. I was too busy setting up his targets.

Thanks! I’m open to having a get together on my place.

Is that a Leupold fire dot duplex?

No, these are are all top secret optics from an agency that doesn’t exist, who we may, or may not work for, or with. Or, not.

Had a blast, T. Literally :joy: Thanks for the confidence boost but you left me with new accuracy aspirations. I have work to do, but I’m on it! We’ll shoot some pool next time at my place ha

My old fishing buddy always tells me, you dont have to get ready when you stay ready. We ready.

Burning through some ammo is always fun.

22-250 is one fast little bullet!

What KelTec is that with the full pic rail on top?

Nah, just a plain old Vari-X III 6.5-20x50 on my old 700VLS 22-250. Fine duplex. Spitting 55gr @ 4000fps.

That’s Stumps 22lr. He was dingin 6" steel at 75yds!

Its the Keltec CP33, sweet little joker! But all in all, the TX22 is my fave. Thats what I was dinging distant steel with, forgot to even try with the CP after the surprising success with the Taurus  I’ll be sure to try it next time.

33 rounds, holy cow! Looks like a great reason to go for the tax stamp and get a suppressor! Kel Tec makes some wacky stuff and I like it

I thought long and hard about a TX22 when PSA put them on sale earlier this year… sweet guns!

You wont regret either purchase, promise!

Definitely appreciate that, brother! We’ll get together after Thanksgiving.

Writing Santa this afternoon about that very infringement… to the top of the list!

Well done, sir!
