When I google smart controller remote" I get a wireless remote control. You’re describing a unit with “wiring”.
I have a Raymarine S26 smart pilot. with a s6001 head. Can I replace my S6001 with your unit?

The unit I have is the SmartController. It comes with the Baseststion and all Seatalk cables, power cables and network hub (“wiring”).
As far as working with your existing unit, this will work fine. All of your components currently installed will remain. You will wire in the Base Station included with the remote, network into your existing equipment and you’re good to go. The install should be pretty painless.
