Hi everyone…I am fairly new to this area and have been stationed here for just over a year. I just helped out the local economy by replacing my old 88 Bayliner with a new Key West 176 Bay Reef from Butler Marine. I spoke with just about every dealer in the area and all were very helpful, as are many people from SC. Jim McClure and his staff at Butler treated me extremely well. I read some of the posts a couple of years back about Butler Marine and I would have to agree with those who posted about Jim treating his customers well. Also thanks to those of you who gave some input on my previous post. I look forward to enjoying this area by fishing more, learning the area, and getting the kids out with me(they were more excited than me when I brought it home). The wife says she will go out fishing too, so we will see.
Sweeeeet, thanks for stimutating the economy. You and your family have many fun and exciting days ahead of you and will create memories that will last forever.
Optiker: I went with the 2010 model instead of the 2011, which allowed me to get the extras such as 115 HP (instead of 90), trolling motor package, and GPS among some others.
I do plan on being extra safe while on the water ways especially when the family is on board.
Nice call! That is a beautiful boat and you and your family will love it. This area is full of areas to explore. Having a neighbor with a boat helps (Optiker!!) Enjoy!!
