real good beer for a price

Costco has some variety packs “Mountain Medley” of Highland Brewing’s best. They are the Asheville N.C. brewer that makes the Gaelic Ale. The beers are rich malt, barley and hop types. FITTIN! If you like that kind of beer, it is well worth the $30.00/case. I put up a few cases for the coming deer season. These are true sipping/tasting beer to enjoy on occasion not volume drinking beer.

Had a literal chill run up my spine when I read that. I didn’t even realize folks still drunk it. You do realize it isn’t even an American brewery anymore?

Tell ya what is… my home brew. Can’t afford the stuff I really like (Belgian Trappist Ales and snooty IPA’s) so I make do brewing my own counterfeits. Not as good, but it costs less than Budinkel and doesn’t give me that rocket fuel hangover when I get a little carried away. A.B. just makes some really poisonous stuff.

Probably the best thing about Jersey - this guys cracks me up: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91DH4lNpniE
