Sheephead are on fire right now too. I have been messing them up even on the days when cold fronts move in.

Guns kill people just like spoons made Rosie O’donell fat.

Love to hear, “Let’s go fishing, Grandbuddy”!

Thanks Dave. Great report and I look forward to trying some of your tips.

Problem is, up here around Bushy and Cypress, our water is like chocolate milk. You, literally, cannot see your bait in 8-10" of water.

I’m not sure what to do until it clears up a little.

bigt7mm, for trout that might be a problem, but for reds adding some procure or trying a gulp bait will still work. I’ve noticed the creeks are clearer than the main river recently in Bushy. Thanks man.

A most excellent read. I learned a few things.

Thanks for the info!!

Thanks Optiker, I’ll have to try some of this, always open to something new. Hit me up on pm as to what was bait used Sunday. Need some new ideas even though what I’m doing works.
That sheephead I’ll definitely go hard at this year. Determined to catch a few

In the dirty main river we were using gulp 5" jerk shads in anchovy color. In the clearer creeks we were using zman Trout Tricks and StreakZ in various colors. All on TroutEye jigs

You’re welcome and thank YOU.

I’ll give it a try.

Not sure if I’ll get out this weekend. Might just hang out and smoke some ribs and butts.

PM sent, too.

Thanks Optiker, Those trout eye jigs looks heavy but are somewhat a light traveler once in the water. Scott at Haddrell’s passed on a few of those swimbait and I’ll try them this weekend. See you on the waters.
