@gotchacovered…i see you’re a insurance person, we have progressive on our boat, and a short story goes that they wouldnt do anything for us as far as roadside assistance is concerned. they said it was an accident, not roadside assistance. in which we did end up with a $300 tow,…any experience with something like this?
I have Sea Tow and they will help with the expenses of a tow if you have the step up program they have available. I think it’s about $30 dollars more but I think it’s well worth it. I’ve needed to use it one time in several years and they paid for the tow. As much trailering as I do it really is peace of mind, just like when I’m on the water. I’ve never used them on the water, I really hope I’m not jinxing myself, but it really helps to give you a better feeling when you are out there. I’m sure like me you try to maintain everything in good working order but occasionally something pops up and assistance is needed. This is not an ad for Sea Tow but I do like their quick response the one time I called.
