recent redfish success

whats up people

just wanted to let everyone know that the redfish bite is getting out of control up in the real shallow water around the inlets

all fish sight casted on artificials (white gulp 3IN shrimp, doa and saltwater assasin swim baits)…

when the water clears up it should be epic, gotta get a wetsuit and some plugs for the yak for sure…im gonna miss FL “winters”

here are some pics

nice red

this pic might give away where i’ve been at

Live, that first pic is really great.

Mud

Tarpon 140

Digital with timer set on the yak or someone taking it? Nice report and very nice fish…

I don’t necessarily agree with everything I say.

yeah i set the timer on my dig

kinda hard to get good pics, and i only give it one shot to make sure i get a strong release…

i want to get on some tarpon in the yak this summer, any ideas anyone? its gotta be much different than FL…

well i totally jinxed myself…after this post on redfish “success” i got completely shut down today…checked out a new spot today…and had no luck didn’t even see a fish…horrible day

just kidding, had to call the day early cause i ran out of hooks – yes the fish bent up all my worm hooks today…caught 3 fish total all in the high 20s low 30s…man these fish were eating out of control today, all caught on light green salt water assasins w/ silver glitter…

also, if you look closely at the pic, you can see the tag on the fishes back…first time ever catching a tagged fish…got the number written down and gonna call up that number tomorrow–maybe i’ll get a prize who knows
