Bought a new one and updated my PFD.Better check yours!! The new one is yellow and good for 3 years i think.DNR will check it.
you mean a new CO2 charge for your inflatable PFD? I’ve got to replace mine, thanks for the reminder…
I tried searching for this but can’t find anything…seems like I remember hearing that the inflatable PFDs are only counted if someone is wearing it…

Bonzo is correct. As a former Coast Guard boarding officer Inflatable PFD’s only count when worn. But laws change. Always refer to the most recent SCDNR regs and USCG rules. Sometimes one trumps the other in a particular body of water. Or just wear it because it will save your life.
