recommendation on wax or refinish above the waterl

I need to wax my boat on the inside. Does anyone have recommendations on what product to use? My nonskid and console are starting to look rough. I have waxed the outside, but inside needs some help. Whats the best thing for that?

It depends on how oxidized the gel coat is to begin with. Woody wax is great on the non-skid. I just don’t believe it has the longevity of a good paste wax for the console and gunnels.

I would recommend especially if you have never waxed the inside of the boat to first start by compounding it with something like a 3M imperial compound followed by a collinite wax. Both are stocked at West Marine.

The gunnels and the console have been waxed, I just stayed away from the nonskid. Thanks for the advice.
