I’m heading out of Shem creek Friday morning and looking for recommendations on some good areas where the fish have been biting. Fishing a rising tide, looking for trout and redfish. I’ve been hearing good things about the creeks behind Sullivan’s off the ICW. Any info you could share is greatly appreciated.
DYNAMITE HOLE! Its near the entrance of the south jetty. Look for the two red and green cans and then watch the fishfinder for the drop off near the cans. Fishfinder rigs, circle hooks and a nice big live mullet or fresh cut bait on the bottom. Its a well known location in charleston. This time of year it always produces some of the largest redfish. You never stated what kind of boat you have. If youve got a jon boat forget about it, go up the ICW by goat island. good luck.
