Our family is spending a week in Marathon Key, FL in December 2016. I would like to hire a guide to take my daughter and I fishing inshore for a half day trip. We are looking more for continuous activity than “quality” of fish. She cast an open face reel quite well.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a local guide or for species to seek out?

I second Harlan. He’s a personal friend of mine and a hell of a fisherman. His handmade custom boat is pretty cool too!
We used Chris Morrison while down there in May, had a couple solid trips
call Capt Jamie Hough at 843-364-1759 he was a guide in the keys I’m sure he could give you nod in the right direction .
Roy Linbeck - The Tiki. He’s a legend and goes out of his way to find the bigger fish. He’s out of Calusa Cove.
I went with Ariel Medero earlier this year, had a great time and caught a pretty wide variety. I follow his Facebook page and he puts meat on the dock just about every day judging from his pics. He’s in Marathon at the Bluegreen resort.

Monster wahoo, dolphin, tuna, snapper, grouper, pretty much anything we told him we wanted to catch he put us on them.+
All on light tackle too, except the wahoo obviously
Hes from here also, so you wont have to adjust to how he acts too much. Just like most fishermen from around here… you can take that how you want.
