Fished the incoming tide Saturday afternoon. Very slow until my son decided to put on a spinner bait. Caught 9 slots reds really quick and left them biting. All were released to fight another day. Hopefully the trout bite will pick up soon. Tight lines

Trout bite has been decent for me, incoming tide over humps. Topwater 30 minutes before dark and suspending hard baits other times.

23Sailfish,
Any size to the trout? We did not focus on trout do the where we were fishing.

How do you work the suspending?
First, Most, Biggest
Average has been 15 to 16", biggest to about 19.
I’m far from an artificial expert, but I vary the depth until I find what the fish like. I know there’s a particular hump I fish frequently. I cast to the opposite side of it, let it sink for about 5 seconds to get it around a foot over that hump, then I retrieve it. Vary the retrieve until I find what they like. Sometimes its fast, sometimes slow. The bigger fish seem to like it slower lately.

We managed 3 slot reds and this nice 27" 8# on flies. We went out of Eddings Point. BTW. WHEN and how will they remove that boat?

Looks like they started moving it today. Ramp was shut down and they had air bags floating in the water when I drove by today.
