Took my new to me, 2014 Pathfinder 2400trs out today, just couldn’t wait for a good weather day any longer. She did not disappoint! Fished a few areas in the Toogadoo and the water had about 2/3ft. viz, 50deg. good compared to the Chocolate Milk the rain has provided us lately. Missed a few on incoming and ran to a hole I have not fished in two years. As soon as the tide turned out it was on. Caught 8 back to back, a few in the slot but most were 25". Copper Penny,Chartreuse paddle tail on a .10cent jig head. This spot produced 50+ slot fish on 5 trips two years ago. Fished it with 4 different Chas/Fish buddies back then. All fish released, got a freezer full of Yellow fin, Snapper and grouper from this year and headed to Venice next week for a week of fishing with 6 buddies from Chas. Had the waterways to or selves and Joe is always a joy to fish with! Had Tuna Tataki and Smoked Alligator Dogs for lunch chased with Ice Cold Millers! Great day on the water.
If it got any better I couldn’t stand it.
