I’ll admit. You got me. Only because it’s 630pm and my coffee wore off hours ago, but you got me.
There is an article in today’s P&C.
“One-fish-per trip recreational fishing should open for expected six to 12 days in October. Commercial fishing should be open until the end of the year, with a 75 lb limit per trip”
So the Feds are predicting that recreational fishermen will catch over 29,000 snapper in 6 to 12 days? A 12 day season would require 2,416 fishermen fishing every day at a limit of one per person per day. Does this mean the entire south-east coast? That is a lot of time on the water for a lot of people. Realistic???
