Someone was trying to give me directions, and he thought I knew these places, all I know is they are South of Limehouse Landing on Stono…a trestle nearby. Where are these places? thanks.

From the intracoastal waterway heading away from Charleston just past Limehouse is a river on the right. This is Wallace River. Head up the river about a mile and there is a railroad trestle. Just past the trestle the river splits in two. Wallace continues to the left. Rantowles Creek splits off to the right. A bout a mile up river/creek after the split are the US 17 bridges.
I don’t fish the area much anymore but in my younger days I used to camp on some of the islands nearby and I used to jump off of the trestle. Did the underwater inspection of both of the old US 17 bridges. Fun times in that current!
