was able to sneak away for 3 hours with nobody knowing to fish the incoming tide on friday. the flounder weren’t cooperating but i had boated 1 redfish about 22" and was close to packing it in when i had a double, one on a float suspended shrimp and a carolina-rigged mullet. i was taken on a ride around a shell bank and too close to a dock before boating the largest (picture below) and being surprised that the other had not wrapped me around pilings while i held the rod steady with my knees. the image of me trying to paddle and control 2 rods must have been a sight to see. all fish released healthy. i need to install my rod holder but i’ve tossed around the idea of buying a sit on top so i’ve been hesitant. i couldn’t get the camera out before the 2nd of the double flopped off my lap and revived himself. it would be a nice run to have 3 or 4 of these for saturday’s tournament. good luck to all. mike
better keep that one for the winter.nice fishin.
