Redfish lures

I was hoping to get to do some creek fishing this weekend, I was just wondering what some of you guys favorite lures for inshore red fishing are. Currently I just use shrimp lures and jigs. Anything else I should know?

“Match the hatch.” Shrimp, crab and baitfish (hard plastic and soft plastic) imitation baits. A good assortment of Trout Tricks and Trout Eye jig heads are always a good thing. Topwater baits, spinnerbaits and spoons.

No matter how much it hurts, how dark it gets, or how far you fall…you are never out of the fight.

I prefer Zman soft plastic baits. They just have the most action

For baitfish imitators, I’ve had the best luck with Zman minnowZ in “Bad Shad” and “Mud Minnow” colors (mud minnow has been the better of the two).

+1 on Trout Trick and spoons. I’ve had the best results with the gold colored weedless spoons

I catch reds while trout fishing with trout tricks. They really thump it good. You know right away its not a trout.

Anything tied to white braid

White bread? Only on carp!

Thank you all for the help
