Here is my latest article for ya’ll about modifying your freshwater Spinnerbaits to accept different baits to catch Redfish! I’m curious if any of ya’ll have tried this with any luck in the Charleston area. Also, has anyone ever tried a Chatterbait for Redfish?
Take a read and let me know!

I’ve never modified one bc i just always got one of the saltwater spinners. Is there an advantage to modifying one or getting a saltwater spinner? Just curious
Keep your lines tight and remember. Respect the fish and your fellow fisherman. Know the Code.
I’ve used saltwater versions with paddle tail plastics with success. About 4 years ago we went with a guide in Mosquito Lagoon in Florida and that’s where I picked up the technique. We had good success that day and I used them with good results afterwards. Haven’t used them in a while but maybe I’ll get them out and dust them off for my next trip.

Nice article. Many people don’t realize it, but the same stuff used for largemouth fishing works for Reds, including plastic worms.
Chatter baits…,ssshhhh…
I’ve caught many reds on a gold Mepps freshwater spinner bait.

The ones with twin blades work well in copper!
