Redfish OTF

After many missed shots, I was finally able to connect yesterday. Lots of small pods of fish and singles on the flats. I caught it on a variation of the mackerel shrimp I have been tying, but I also got some looks and a couple of shots with a suspending bait fish tied with EP fibers.There happened to be a very nice man photographing the fight and when I landed the fish. I had a great conversation with him and it just made me realize that part of fishing is meeting amazing people.
