Redfishing Saturday 1-15-12

Capt Mitch Barber, Capt Justin Hubbard and Capt Mike Able Jr took a group of guys out trying to hammer some reds. They had a bachelor party come into town and wanted to catch some reds while drinking plenty of Natty Light. Capt Mitch had a good trip using crabs and mullet on the bottom. They caught 8 or 9 pigs. Capt Justin Hubbard did well with the artificials. He was using watermelon jerk shads on weighted worm hooks and the 4 inch Zman paddlerz in the redbone color with a 3/16 oz Gamakatsu jig head. Capt Justin ended the trip with 8 really nice reds. Capt Mike produced a good mess of fish for his group of clients as well. Capt Mike was using Gulp shrimp (3in natural) and DOA paddle tail grubs. All the customers were happy with the fishing. Come stop by either location and talk with us, we will be glad to show you the lures the guys caught them on.

THAT is what I call a fishing report!!! Thanks for sharing. Was thinking about getting out this weekend, and that was a good push!:sunglasses:

Mainly fishing flats? I can’t get on them (on purpose) and am curious.

Vin, why on purpose ??

Bragging may not bring happiness,
but no man having caught a large fish,
goes home through the alley.

Because I ran up on one - on accident - and nearly got stuck! Triumph draws alot of water
