Good success lately, slow rolling a gold spoon or small spinner bait through the flooded, deeper, spartina grass on high falling water. Getting some pretty cool takes as the reds are falling out through the small feeder creek channels in the flooded grass to nearby structure. Spring is in the air folks!

Nice report! I have been using the Zman Better Than Bucktail with a slim swim and throwing up into the grass and jerking it out and getting some good reaction strikes. Good advice on the spoon I am gonna give it a try too.
I had one practically jump out of the water to eat my vudu shrimp yesterday. I knew then it wasnt winter anymore:smiley:
