I travel back and forth to Savannah quite often and fish just about every time I get there. We did well on the reds in the surf last weekend (pics attached)(my fiance caught her personal best). Will be headed out to the front side with a buddy on Friday to see if they are here as well. Anyone have experience with this? Or would like to partner up? We are headed out at 630am and going south from Folly boat ramp. Any advice would be appreciated.
If it gets a little nasty with that SSW wind, I plan on trolling for spanish.
Also, I understand specific spots and getting people riled up about an area is a no-no. I’m a simple guy and also understand that friends are a lot more valuable than speculation as well as trial and error. Old salts… let me know if I need to shut the pie hole. Those who would like to try to find some fish on Friday morning… PM me.

Thanks for the report! Hopefully someone can hook up with you and get some around here too!

Do you have Navionics on your GPS? Be careful the Folly inlet is tricky. I ran it years ago. You have to head out then veer way right and hook back left then run to the outer buoy. They are on the front beach in the wash on the incoming. Good luck and be safe!

Thanks for the advice Hookem CHS! No Navionics on the older Garmin but I do have it on my phone which I will be monitoring. Navionics doesn’t have much on that area anyway. Google Earths shots from March 2017 show the breakers pretty well and I’ve marked accordingly. After a couple hours of tide I’m hoping to veer south as soon as we make that turn around the point and run the beach.
