Reds, Reds, everywhere...........

… But we couldn’t catch any of them!!!

Went out to Copahee yesterday with Stinky Fingers and RShackleford on the low tide. Managed to spook a few big fish (one was huge!!) and saw a few pushing, but couldn’t get any takers. Stinky ended up winning the sting ray derby, with two and the largest of the day.

It was a nice day out there until the storm blew in. How about that couple in the canoe heading out just before the storm?? Idiots!

After the storm, I met a few other buddies and went after tailing fish in Beresford creek. We saw lots of fish, including the biggest tailer I have ever seen. Must have been 40 inches! Managed to get one good size fish to pick up my gulp, but ended up missing him. The fish are out there, they just don’t like me anymore.

So what your sayin is that the Reds are currently safe from their only “natural predator”?!?

Thats why they call it fishing, not catching

A 40in tailer? I would have hooked myself in the back of the head trying to cast to something like that. I’ve never seen one bigger than 31"-32". I bet that was a sight to behold.

He might not have been 40, but it was ■■■■ close!! The fish kept coming up an rolling on top. When he waved that big ole tail at us, my buddy almost fell out of the kayak!!
