Fished just about every evening this week with most days good success, fish the limehouse area Friday evening on the top of the outgoing, ended up with two over slot reds on cut crab fishing the grass line on floats, and right before dark as the water was coming out the grass picked up 3 more 2 of which were in the slot on gulp shrimp and man did they pound em!! Threw in the general area where I saw him last and he chased it down a good 3 feet away!
Fished daybreak in the wando this morning on the top of the outgoing once again, went straight for my honey hole and picked up at least 10 reds ranging from 18"to 27". Most were caught on gulp peeler crabs and a jighead reeled in very slow. Others on cut crab and fm. Beautiful morning, heavy fog though, and for all who are interested the big menhaden are thick right where the cooper and wando meet, across from remleys landing. One cast caught 20 or 30 4 to 6"menhaden.
