Put in at limehouse at 6:45 water temp was 57deg. And very muddy but that didn’t slow the reds down very first cast was a 28" then the little man followed up with a 26" the bite was hot, we managed 13 from one spot then decided to go after some trout that’s when it got bad lol the trout bite was horrible, we did manage 5 shorts but it wasn’t worth the 3 hours of effort so we fell back to the red spot and caught 2 more before hiting the road. All reds were caught on zman shrimp.
Congrats on a Great Day of fishin’ ! Y’all were fishin’ the incoming. We went out an hour before high tide and fished till about 4PM. My buddy lost one early in the falling tide . He did everything right, but the circle just pulled out— no breakage or anything. He hooked up later with a beautiful coppery-colored 26". Unfortunately it wasn’t my day (again) ! Beautiful Day to be out on the water.
Thanks for the report, good work! Love that gold color when they are all lit up like that!
