Saltwater Kayak Fishing

I am looking for a couple of general put in areas that hold some fish. I am in Myrtle Beach, and I am willing to travel north or south. Any help would be appreciated.

Your best bet is to try to get your hands on a Top Spot map for your area. It’ll show you launches, hot spots and gps coordinates.

Thats why they call it fishing, not catching

Can’t help ya’ on the north end, but if you aren’t too far from Murrells Inlet, there are a couple kayak-friendly put-ins. Fishing at both are decent but gets hit hard in the summer. Both places are also crazy with small boats on weekends. Morse Landing on the south end of Murrells Inlet restaurant row, beside Hot Fish Club, can be good but water can get skinny at low tide. A few miles further south, the dirt road at the oyster recycling center leads to a beach with plenty of water for kayaks at any tide.
