Three years ago myself and jws made our first trip to capers reef to catch sheeps in my little boat and we brought back some real monsters. For some reason we never went back. After lots of talk lately between us we decieded we both really wanted to make a trip dedicated to sheeps. With the beautiful forecast I decieded I would make the 11 mile run in my 1720 Key West and meet my buddies at the reef. My partner was a no show so I had to do all the work myself making my arival at the reef was way later then sunrise as I had planned. The bite was on when I got out there as I watched two boats boat fish as I tried to get set up. LOTS of sheeps were hungry and so were the black drum. I fished a couple spots and all were loaded with sheeps but I never found the big fish that I came for. No monsters but I got a solid limit of 20 sheeps and 5 black drum.
